Richard has been shooting since he was 9 years old. During this time, he has competed in 5 consecutive Olympic Games 1996-2012 where he made 3 top 6 finals and achieved 1 gold medal in the Sydney 2000 games.
In more recent years Richard has also set courses for major events such as World English Sporting 2006, US Open 2017, USA South East Regional 2018 and ICTSF World English Sporting in July 2019.
Over the years Richard has achieved:
- 7 English Open Titles
- 5 British Open Titles
- 7 European Titles
- 22 World Titles
..across the disciplines of English Sporting, FITASC Sporting, Compak Sporting and Sportrap.
He has also represented his country over 80 times at international events.
